Understanding Vehicle Histories with ProVinDecoder: Your Detailed FAQ Guide

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique code assigned to every motor vehicle when it's manufactured. It serves as a fingerprint for the vehicle and is used to track its history, registration, recalls, warranty claims, thefts, and insurance coverage.

Typically, the process takes around 1 minute — 70 seconds on average, to be precise! This service operates 24/7, and reports are generated automatically.

The Pro Vin Decoder service is a collaboration between carVertical and our organization. Through this partnership, we provide a comprehensive vehicle history report based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) entered by the user. The goal is to offer valuable data about vehicles by gathering information from an extensive network of over 900 data sources

Our service offers the essential details for assessing a vehicle's true condition, including mileage, records of damages, registration history across countries, and checks against stolen vehicle databases, among other valuable insights. Important Note: We do not possess or generate the data in our reports—the information we furnish is contingent on its availability.

We gather data from various sources, including state registries, insurance companies, auto repair shops, connected vehicle fleets, and many more. In addition, we are proud to partner with carVertical, further enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive and accurate data for our users.

The (online) report will be available for 30 days after the purchase. If you think you might need it later, feel free to print it or save it as a file.
